Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is based on keeping the child at the centre of every day. We focus on blending indoor and outdoor classrooms to give children a home-away-from-home experience where we are able to create a space where children feel empowered and ready to learn. We place a strong emphasis on the desire to help all children reach their individual potential in the early years of development.
Who We Are
Abeona got its start in Kettering in 2015. We decided to do things a bit differently at Abeona Warkton by creating a space which fosters early learning in a fun and safe environment where children from 0 to 5 years old can explore the world around them.
Our namesake is the Roman goddess Abeona. She watches over a child's first steps away from their home to explore the world. We hope to invoke her in everything we do, offering children protection and guidance as they embrace their curiosity and explore the world at their own pace.
We believe our innovative approach gives children a bright and positive start in life as we encourage both exploration and discovery as well as emotional intelligence and friendship building.

About Our Kettering Location
When you visit us here at Abeona Warkton Nursery, you’ll see firsthand what makes us different!
Our setting includes:
Our mini farm is a favourite with the children! We have pigs, goats, guinea pigs, and rabbits, as well as a fish pond.
We are very lucky to have our own swimming pool onsite. Lessons are taught by our own swim teacher, twice weekly.
Lingotots Spanish to introduce children to multilingualism early on. Learning a second language has lots of educational benefits for children!
All of our food is cooked fresh onsite by our fully trained kitchen staff.
We also offer a wide variety of activities, including Hartbeeps Singing and Rhythm, Teddy Football, Teddy Tennis, Cooking Lessons, Yoga, and Teddy Dance!
Merging Teaching and Childcare
We offer a variety of programs, including care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. We want to work with parents to ensure we are providing care that works for them, as well as for their little ones.
We believe that it’s never too early to start learning and that it’s vital to always present opportunities for children to learn and grow as soon as they start at our setting.
By developing our programs with curriculum experts and childcare specialists, we’ve been able to hone in on what makes early education a success and created a learning program that allows our children to enter school seamlessly.
